The term 'photofacial' refers to the treatment of pigmented and vascular lesions on the face. Using the MaxG for photofacial treatments allows for clearing of benign pigmented lesions, actinic bronzing (hyperpigmentation, severe sun damage), and telangiectasias (spider veins), can reduce the redness associated with rosacea, and provide rejuvenated-looking skin through intense pulsed-light treatments.
If treating both pigment and vascular lesions simultaneously, pigment may resolve before vascular lesions.
